Simulation based Hands-on Audit Training

The Simulation-Based Hands-on Audit Training, organized by the SMP Committee of ICAP, is a practical and innovative training program scheduled for October 18-20 and 26-27, 2024. This program is designed to enhance the technical auditing skills of trainee students through a live, simulation-based approach. Under the supervision of a qualified auditor, participants will experience a complete audit process, from planning to reporting, in a simulated environment.

The training focuses on key aspects such as audit knowledge, audit software usage, communication, and interpersonal skills. Participants will work on a model audit of a commercial entity and gain hands-on experience in external audit procedures, improving their computer literacy, audit software proficiency, and team collaboration.

The program aims to equip trainees with real-world skills that will make them more effective in professional environments. Key learning outcomes include understanding regulatory and ethical frameworks, performing audit procedures, using accounting and audit software, and developing effective communication and presentation skills.
